As a divorce lawyer, I have seen a lot of stuff and always believed in early warning assessment; you don’t want to come to my office filing for a divorce, do you? Well, here are a few standard signs you should watch for;

1.       Sex becomes a taboo

This is a major sign cause of he doesn’t want to have the party party with you; he probably had it somewhere else. This happens because he is all wasted and already satisfied. Really, you don’t expect anyone who had several sessions of a wild romping a few hours ago to want to get cozy with you.

2.       If you notice his friends acting strange

His friends will always act weird and will try to avoid conversations with you. They definitely are protecting their dude; worse, they know their buddy just poked another woman yesterday and now they wonder if you get some or nothing at all. Check for their eye contact and you will notice how dodgy they can get.

3.       Jumpy phone behavior/phone off limits

His phone rings and you think Bill Gates called to offer him a share of Microsoft. He never wants to miss the phone call lest someone else picks it to unravel the call wasn’t from Gates but from the woman next door or worse, your best friend he’s been screwing. At this time, they will always ensure there phone is off when they sleep and will always carry the handsets wherever they go including the bathroom.

4.       Picks unnecessary fights

He’ll always start those little fights with no real cause. Break a glass and he’ll get angry at you like you killed someone. That is the point he figures out that pushing you to the wall will make you leave him alone or leave the house for him. Watch out cause the other woman could be pressuring him to officiate things between them.

It is really funny how humans behave when they are into someone, just watch out for those remarks of him trying to praise another unknown woman. The name of the other woman will always pop out unexpectedly in your conversations.

6.       Watch that guilty look on his face

Always worried that their days are numbered, that guilty look never disappears and like I have always said, eye contact is key to communication. If he avoids eye contact, then you know something fishy is cooking in your kitchen; you better find out whether it’s tilapia or a shark before it is too late.
