Village Casanova impregnates six school girls in Bondo

HNK has established a strange and saddening act where a village casanova in the remote part of the country has impregnated six schools girls or even more. The middle-aged man from the lakeside city of Kisumu is said to have travelled to his rural village of Bondo and stayed for a month. During this period, he is alleged to have duped these girls in the pretext of marrying them by giving them small presents which included biscuits, lollipops and fish. Due to the high poverty levels in the county and its neighbours, the man took advantage of the situation by promising the girls a good life in the lakeside city, away from poverty. Owing to the high inflation rates in the country hitting a record 8.29 percent in September 2013, food prices have sky-rocketed living the poor in hard positions. Young girls have resorted to prostitution with young men finding their way into crime in order to earn a living.

The area chief and the police are still hunting down the man, only known to the girls as Olomide, as he is said to be at large and still on his hit-small-girl adventures. The man who seems to have perfected the art of wooing small girls managed to keep the girls away from each other during the short time as the girls never knew of each other. One of the girls who cannot be named for security reasons mentioned that the man claimed to be a prominent county rep from the lakeside town. Police have launched investigations into the claims while the girls were taken to the nearby County Hospital for medical checkup.

A similar happening took place in western Kenya where close to 18 girls in the same primary school were found pregnant. This has prompted the government to initiate a major sex education drive in schools to help curb unwanted pregnancies among underage girls and the spread of STDs.
